Dr. Hartman obtained her undergraduate degree from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana with a bachelor of science in chemistry. She completed her Doctorate of Optometry at the Ohio State University College of Optometry. During optometry school, she served as her class representative for the OSU Inter-Professional Council and was involved in community service, including Lion’s Club and the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists.
As part of her training, Dr. Hartman completed rotations at Five Points Eye Care in Athens, Georgia; the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in White River Junction, Vermont; and Vision Professionals and Comprehensive Eye Care in Columbus, Ohio. She also trained in the Ohio State University’s specialty clinics including contact lenses, low vision, pediatrics and binocular vision, advanced ocular care, student health, and primary care.
Dr. Hartman is a member of the Ohio Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She is happy to see patients of all ages and especially enjoys fitting contact lenses, pediatrics, and managing ocular disease and dry eye. Dr. Hartman resides in Rocky River with her husband and is looking forward to serving the Middleburg Heights community.
